World Championships 2012 : Mexico

At the moment of press of this newsletter we were still awaiting the tournament fact-sheet but the next Championships will be held in Mexico, from 26th November till 2nd December. Will you be there?

UKPF/PEA has the intention to be sending a team to Mexico, for the world championships, and would like to invite all players to attend trials for the teams. Team selection will be made in collaboration between UK Head Coach Dani Dios, and Spanish based German Schafer.

FIRST TRIALS / OPEN TRIALS:

(TO BE HELD AT PADELCLUB LONDON)

  • Sunday 23th September 2012
  • Sunday 30th September 2012

TRAINING SQUAD SESSIONS:

  • Sunday 7th of October
  • Sunday 21st of October
  • Sunday 4th of November
  • Sunday 11th of November

With a growing database of players and an increased network of courts, the level of play has grown rapidly. UKPF/PEA will hold open trial sessions for all UK and Spanish based players (Spanish based players will be informed about dates separately). The first round of trials is open to everyone - (at least one date needs to be attended to be eligible for selection in the UK training Squad. If unable to attend, please notify Head Player Development, Daniel Dios via info@padelengland.org. Players that will be considered for the UK Team will receive an invite after the Open Trials for the following round - Training Squad Sessions. Trials might also be used to have an idea about the level for B-Teams, over 35's and over 50's - therefor it is advisable to try your chances.

PLEASE READ!!! - If interested please contact UKPF/PEA via info@padelengland.org to let us now of your participation during the trials. Players require to give due notice to UK coach Dani Dios. It is the players individual responsibility to sign up for the Open Trials.  If you know anyone that might be interested, please do not hesitate to contact them. (forward their details). The Trials are open to everybody, the recent restructure of UKPF, under guidance of PEA allows a fresh start and an opportunity to all. (Spanish based players will be approached separately). All communication has to be forwarded to PEA via info@padelengland.org who are end responsible for the selection and sending of the UK Team as the UKPF/PEA.
